If you’re one of our existing members you’ll notice a few changes!

Below are a few updates on our new changes. We hope you like it and that you find it easier to use. Any problems or feedback, please just shout and we’ll be onto it a.s.a.p! You can always get us on admin@checkoutmyfriend.co.nz

On the site, singles have the following:

Your ‘Homepage’ keeps track of things since your last visit such as:

•  New messages
•  When you’ve been added to someone’s ‘favourites’
•  Check new suggested matches from your wingman
•  Check your profile status
•  Add a single friend – become their wingman!

Other areas include:

Mail – Keep a track of incoming/outgoing messages, drafts etc

Favourites – Works the same as the old ‘winks’. Add someone to your ‘favourites’ if you like the look of them. That member will receive notification that they’ve been added to your favourites. Here you can keep track of who you’ve added, and who has added you.

Friend’s suggestions – See who your wingman thinks you should check out! You can then manage these suggested members, and add or remove them from this list.

My profile – Here you can Edit your profile and change your reply to your wingman’s comments about you. You can make a reply to your friend’s comments, or change your search criteria, edit and manage your photos, add, delete and choose your main profile photo.

Friends – Invite a new wingman to comment on your profile, add a new single friend

My Account – Here you can keep track the status on your account, deactivate your account, or change your password or contact details.

Payment plans

Members who signed up prior to 1st February 2011 will receive ‘The Works’ membership free till 1st May 2011 to say thanks to recognise your loyalty.

Members who sign up from the 1st February 2011 will receive a 1 month ‘The works’ membership free until we reach 500 members.

After 500 members people will be able to choose their membership plan when they sign up.

When a membership is due to expire we’ll send you a reminder notice.

If you decide not to re-subscribe your profile will automatically revert to a free membership.

At COMF the single can pay, or if a friend is signing up a single mate they have the option to pay also.

Please don’t forget that all our members, just like you have feelings so please treat people as you would in the real world – with respect & courteousness!  Also, please don’t disclose any personal details until you feel ready.

Be pro-active! Especially the gals – its 2011 so don’t be afraid to initiate the favourites and messages.
